ABOUT NEWMARK MERRILL
NewMark Merrill Companies, Inc., is owned by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Sanford D. Sigal. Since 1984, he has led NewMark Merrill in a community leadership role at the company’s shopping centers in more than 100 cities throughout California, Colorado and Illinois.
NewMark Merrill Companies works hard to ensure that its shopping centers are successful for both tenants and communities. The company is known for its innovative and creative marketing, organizing campaigns and community outreach in connection with the needs of individual tenants. In addition, NewMark Merrill takes its commitment to surrounding neighborhoods very seriously, often adopting local charities, providing them with space to raise funds and awareness, and providing direct support through fundraisers and other events.
NewMark Merrill owns and/or manages a portfolio of over 80 shopping centers representing over 1,600 tenants and 10,000,000 square feet. The company’s growth has often landed it on the “Fastest Growing Private Company” lists by providing quality retailers and supporting their success to help them thrive despite the changing retail climate.
